Benefit for the Northern Colorado AIDS Project w/ Silent Auction
Fort Collins Museum of Art, Friday, February 17, 6-9pm

Event attendees will have the opportunity to view the museum’s brand new exhibit, Speaking Volumes: Transforming Hate. This exhibit, which debuted in 2008 at the Holter Museum in Helena, Montana, is a response to the subtle and overt hate that too often occurs in our world. The description of the exhibit reads that “by responding creatively to hate, injustice and violence, the artists in Speaking Volumes provoke thinking and conversations that encourage empathy for others and respect for social justice.’’

The event features live music by Amy and the Peace Pipes (hey, that’s us!), live painting by 84pages, refreshments and an amazing silent auction. Funds raised at this event will help people living with HIV/AIDS in Northern Colorado.
