SUMMARY:Trek the Thompson w/ Creekbed
DESCRIPTION:Trek the Thompson is a FREE family-friendly event to celebrate 
 the Big Thompson River. The event helps to educate participants of all the
  River brings to our communities. We will be exploring the role of the Riv
 er as important habitat for wildlife\, a recreation area\, and a source fo
 r clean drinking water\, among many others. The festival features a variet
 y of activities including hands-on activities for all ages at education st
 ations\, a poker “walk” for a chance to win local prizes\, an easy\, f
 lat\, 3-mile trek along the Big Thompson River\, live music\, a silent auc
 tion\, and food.\n\nHeart Medicine will take the stage at noon\, but come 
 early and check out Creekbed (coyote-folk and cedar smoke).\n\nEvery dolla
 r raised through Trek the Thompson will go directly to Big Thompson Waters
 hed Coalition's efforts to enhance the health and vitality of the watershe
 d and help recover from events like Cameron Peak Fire
